Bryson City

Bryson City is a historic town located in the mountains of Western North Carolina. What makes this town special it that it is almost completely surrounded by the Great Smokey Mountain National Park and the Nantahala National Forest, providing spectacular views everywhere you look. It is a town that allows you to do a little bit of everything. There are shops lining the streets, wonderful restaurants and seasonal activities. We went during their heritage festival and enjoyed the music and local vendors. My favorite part of our trip was the ride on the Great Smokey Mountains Railroad which you will especially enjoy during the fall.
