Davidson River Campground
We love the Davidson River Campground in the Pisgah National Forest. It is the most remote campground in the middle of everything. When staying here, all you can see and hear, is nature, but yet you are ten minutes from Brevard North Carolina. There are sites for tents and trailers with a choice of being near the river or back in the woods. The best part of being here is there is so much to do. The campground has designated areas for fishing, swimming and hiking. They even have an amphitheater that provides nature programs, and in the evening, movies for the children. When planning to visit you want to go early. Sites do fill up quickly, especially during peak times.
