Matty's
This one is one of my favorites. Not only do I love the food, I even like the lunch counter and the checkered table cloths. Matty’s is located in the town of Elkin North Carolina. It’s a small restaurant that offers great home cooking and very friendly staff. Although they don’t offer a lot of choices, they offer a broad range, from seafood to beef tips to hamburgers, and everything is good. The prices are decent and the portions are good. This is one place that I will go back to the next time I’m in the area.
If you want to eat here, plan your day so that you arrive early, because they close at 8:00.
